Holy smokes, guys, you gotta see this!

So, Randy Pitchford, which is pretty big news coming from Google's camp, just dropped some seriously wild intel. His friend supposedly found an unannounced Pixel Watch 5 totally submerged in the Caribbean Sea near St. Martin. Not just *a* watch, but a Pixel Watch 5! The reverse side of the device allegedly confirms it's a Pixel 5, which, letβs be real, hasn't even been announced yet.

The details are sketchyβthe battery looked dead, but it actually showed the time. Pitchford shared some pics, and the back clearly has "Google" and "Pixel Watch 5" printed on it, along with mentions of a heart-rate sensor and an ultra-wideband chip. It even seems to be leaning into that bubble design vibe from the Pixel Watch 4.

Hereβs the thing: it feels completely bizarre. Usually, these leaks come from supply chain insiders or analysts, not a friend scuba diving. But when you look at the sheer weirdness of this, it makes you wonder if Google is just dropping breadcrumbs or if this is some bizarre, accidental slip-up from the inside.

If this is real, itβs easily one of the craziest product leaks in ages. Either way, the anticipation for the official reveal at the Pixel event in August or September is about to get a serious boost.
