You guys will not believe this β Friendship and Charlotte Cornfield just announced they're touring together! They formed a group in 2017 as producers at their studio called The Laboratory; the whole idea was to create synth-pop that felt cohesive across both of their discographies, which is honestly beautiful. Their sound blends live instrumentation with heavy vintage synth work and perfectly reflects their friendship, so hearing them play together will be incredible. Charlotte has an album released in 2018, Friendship's first full LP dropped in 2023, and now they get to share a stage.
The tour is only two shows: Los Angeles on March 9 at the Hollywood Palladium and Nashville on April 4 at the Ryman Auditorium, which is probably one of the best venues ever built. Both dates sell out quickly, so you should grab tickets fast β they're available through AXS at their website. You can also see more about Friendship from Pitchfork's coverage here: https://pitchfork.com/artist/friendship-1234/. The lineup is going to be killer and worth the drive if you're nearby!
