You guys need to check out these leaked Pixel Watch 5 renders because they're everywhere already! The official reveal is coming August 12, but someone at The Tide Chart posted four images that look real enough to be the actual promo shots. They got them through OnLeaks β€” who always nails these things β€” and the design stays with the round face and domed display from the Watch 4, so your old bands will still work! And let me tell you, Google nailed the colors this year. There's Dark Anthracite with a black band, Natural Silver with pale gray, Pyrite in olive green, and Warm Gold paired with coral β€” which is my personal favorite even if it only showed on the 41mm model in the leak. They should still release it in both sizes though because that would be wild to ignore at this point!

The lineup includes Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+LTE versions like usual, but the pricing news has me sweating a bit β€” the small 41mm Wi-Fi version starts at $399, which is a $50 jump over last year's model. For the big picture: you can go all the way up to $529 if you want the larger display and LTE, so there's clearly money on every desk here. We don't know about battery or chipset yet because Google keeps that under wraps until launch day, but it will definitely ship with Wear OS 7 this August. I might upgrade, honestly β€” those color combos are too nice to pass up even if the price hike stings a little.
