You guys have GOT to see this because Madden is finally coming to Apple Arcade and it's actually a massive win for the mobile ecosystem! The Arcade Edition officially drops on August 7, which is already six days ahead of the PC and console versions β€” early access for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. You get full controller support plus touch controls if you prefer that, and player ratings dynamically update based on real-life performance throughout the season. Franchise mode is fully playable too, so you can play GM and hunt for a Super Bowl title on your phone or tablet. The one catch: there's no Ultimate Team mode because Apple Arcade doesn't allow in-app purchases or ads at all.

This version also marks Madden's return to Mac after what is basically two decades β€” the last game was Madden 08 back in 2007, so this isn't exactly a throwback. It joins NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition and Football Manager 26 Touch on the service soon too. Plus there's even more football coming to the platform with Retro Bowl College+ dropping August 6 as well. You can keep tabs on those latest titles at their site if you want to get ahead of them:
