So Mario Wonder has its own Talking Flower toy now, which makes sense given how much that character talks during the game! It debuted at $34.99 but it just got marked down to $29.99 on Amazon and Walmart for anyone who wants one. For those who haven't played Wonder yet, the flower is a guide that pops up throughout levels with constant encouragement and quips — so a toy version makes actual sense. It even has built-in voice recordings of the character saying things like "You're doing great!" in its signature cheerful tone. Nintendo keeps releasing these weirdly specific toys and I kind of love it, just like Alarmo they made earlier.

It would make for a fun desk companion if you need constant positive affirmation while coding or whatever. You can even use the audio recordings as soundboards; someone already made Mario Kart 8 track with the flower's voice all through it (YouTube link below) and I may have just started listening to it on loop in my head. Whether anyone actually needs an aggressively wholesome talking plant on their desk is a question for another forum thread entirely.
