The final DLC for Xenoverse 2 is actually dropping next week on July 8, titled Future Saga Chapter 4, and Liam Doolan just dropped the trailer. Plus they revealed FighterZ gets another new character coming out next week too! Even Sparking! ZERO fans got news — a Super Limit-Breaking Neo DLC pack was previewed at this past Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour event.
The biggest reveal is that Xenoverse 3 has been officially confirmed for launch in 2027, which means the series keeps going well beyond the current cycle. It's already slated for Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, though they haven't mentioned a Nintendo release — strange since Sparking! ZERO is on Switch 2 and Digimon Story Time Stranger lands on that hybrid platform in July. The game was originally teased under the working title "Age 1000" before this official reveal at Battle Hour came through. We may not get Xenoverse 3 on a Nintendo handheld immediately, but their recent push into hybrid gaming means I wouldn't bet against it later!
