Yo team — Steam's Summer Sale has hit, and I need everyone to stop whatever they're doing because there are 16 absolute gems currently under $5 apiece that you will regret not grabbing while they stay cheap. We start with a five-game blitz: Vampire Survivors at just $0.99 (you can lose hours in this loop), Deep Rock Galactic for $4.99, The Witcher 3 Wild Edition dropping down to $2.99 for the standard edition, Stardew Valley at $1.49, and Civilization VI — but the base game only; do not let yourself get upsold on an Anthology pack because that will cost you more than five bucks! Then comes a set of four indie hits each one arguably in the top echelon: Hollow Knight at $4.70 (metroidvania perfection), Slay the Spire for $3.98, Dead Cells at $4.90, and Cult of the Lamb which has dropped all the way to $5 on Steam — keep in mind this is just the PC deal, not the console versions. And I can't stop talking about these five alone because there are still more you need: Balatrro for $5 (one word: addictive), GIANTS RoboPopUp! which has plummeted from roughly $14 down to a mere $1 (that is insane value), Sea of Stars at $3.78 when it normally goes for around $20, both Blasphemous 1 and 2 are under $5 apiece, Out There for $3, Subnautica also at $3 — which is one of the best games I've ever played and now it costs less than a coffee — and the first Doom Eternal Anthology bundle has dropped below five on Steam too. Seriously pick up as many of these as you can before someone else does!
