YOU GUYS — Sony just dropped the most aggresive partnership campaign I have ever seen, and my inner rocker kid is losing it! They officially launched a full GTA VI collaboration with Rockstar that takes over your entire PlayStation 5 UI when you boot up. Not only do you get custom system menus, but they even added an exclusive in-game car paint called "Bona Vistaed" bronze — which is just the kind of detail I expected from this partnership! They even released a dedicated trailer showing off actual gameplay and the new paint job on high-end sports cars, which is as close to real GTA 6 footage as we're going to get for now.
The best part is that Sony isn't stopping at just one title; they bundled it with an all-access "GTA Story Collection" box for PS5 containing the Greatest Hits of Rockstar history! You get a portable version of GTA V, San Andreas, Vice City Stories, and The Warriors 40th Anniversary edition all in one package. This is Sony going absolutely nuclear on their partnership with Rockstar — they've been doing this since RockStar first partnered with them back in 1997, but I don't think it's ever been this aggressive before! GTA 6 is already confirmed for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S by October 2025, so Sony essentially owns the marketing cycle until then.
I can honestly not believe how much effort went into selling a game that isn't even out yet; they literally reshaped their entire OS around it!
