YOU GUYS — Ratatan got the delay call I honestly wasn't expecting but kinda respect it because they want quality. It was supposed to drop in July and now moves to October 15th, which sucks if you preordered, but Game Source Entertainment says this is purely for bug squashing on Switch 2 based on Steam Early Access feedback — basically polish time. They even opened with "We sincerely apologize" twice because they know the wait's annoying, so I actually feel okay about it now. The team wants to deliver at the level players deserve and that means more than just another buggy release we can forget in a week.
The good news for everyone who preordered is that every single copy gets all the Digital Deluxe content added on — even if you bought the Standard Edition! That's Cobun Set (all 8), the Equipment & Accessories Set with eight special weapons plus accessories, and the Supply Set tossed in as an apology package. Honestly this makes sense because a rhythm game living up to Patapon inspiration can't have bugs ruining the flow at all. Plus you still get that physical release on Switch 2 later, so it's just moving pieces around rather than losing content — I'm already planning my October gaming window now!
