You guys โ€” listen up! The recent "Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration" drop for Switch 2 is basically a triple-win. Not only does it mean Shadow of the Tomb Raider is finally likely getting its own port, but this edition includes everything โ€” Croft Manor, Baba Yaga's tomb, even roguelite and zombie survival modes. The visuals are stunning at native 1080p/30fps in both docked and handheld with TressFX hair intact! Yes, the shooting controls on Joy-Con aren't great (gyro is inventory-only!), but combat makes up only about 30% of the game so you barely notice it โ€” most time you're exploring. The real star is the challenge tombs: they play like mini Zelda dungeons with unique puzzles and new abilities after each one, especially Ancient Cistern where Lara has to raise water levels. It's the best entry in the Survivor trilogy ported onto hardware that actually lets it shine, and honestly I can't wait for Shadow next.
