You guys—this Ace Combat 8 update just dropped and it's massive for multiplayer! Bandai Namco added FOUR brand-new team battle modes that completely change how you play co-op. There’s Aerial Dogfight where teams of two take on each other, Ground Strike with an all-out aerial bombardment objective, a defensive Escort mission protecting a target convoy, and the Ace Assault mode which is essentially a battlefield royale. Each one plays differently and gives different tactics to the matchup!
But that's not even the best part — they also teamed up with Garena for this new multiplayer hub called Ace Fighter Arena in Southeast Asia. It features an arcade fighter-style lobby and lets players compete on global leaderboards through the Summer 2026 tournament starting June 24th, with a regional Grand Final on July 13th. Everyone is climbing the leaderboard to win exclusive digital content like special skins and custom liveries. The competition is already heating up — I'm planning my own squad for the finals!
