Yo team — Assassins Creed Black Flag is genuinely one of my favorite AC entries ever. Piracy-themed game in 2013? Absolutely cracked. And now we have Resynced, which Ubisoft has been promising as the definitive remake and they just dropped an exclusive cutscene between Edward and Caroline for IGN First that I need you all to see right now. It's not just a reskin — it's the same beloved game with modern visuals and fidelity updates, and this scene captures exactly what made Black Flag special: the banter between Edward and his wife is legendary in the original and Ubisoft clearly leaned into their dynamic here.

The cutscene itself has both characters delivering lines that showcase how far the remake team went on character voice work and animation fidelity compared to 2013's version, which I'm already hyped about.
