Yo team โ€” if you tried the free demo of Denshattack! on Switch 2, I know exactly what you're feeling right now because I feel it too โ€” total hype train. But here's the news: launch has been pushed from its original June 17th date to July 15th. Undercoders made the call a bit late (the announcement was on their social feed back on June 4, sorry for being behind), but honestly, it's one of those delays I actually respect because they were honest about why: "we need a little more time to cook to make sure Denshattack! is the best it can be" โ€” and they said that with hearts AND an emoji train. That's not them scrambling; that's dev honesty, which means by July 15th we get the polished version instead of something shipped-to-deadline.

The real reason to stay hyped though is what this game actually IS. The demo is absolutely incredible โ€” it captures those early '00s Sega/Dreamcast vibes better than almost anything I've played in years, and that kind of authenticity isn't a coincidence. During an interview back in April, the studio director David Jaumandreu even said the whole idea started from playing with a Japanese train toy model! Imagine โ€” one kid playing with a toy leads to this Jet Set Radio-style masterpiece on Switch 2. One month is nothing when you get something this cohesive at the end.
