Alright everyone, I just caught wind of something that should have both Mulder and Scully in their grave — X-Files is getting its own detective thriller video game! It's being developed by Legacy Games (who already made Detective: A Murder Mystery), set in a rain-drenched Seattle during the fall season. You play as FBI Special Agents investigating paranormal cases across the city, blending cinematic sequences with open investigation segments where you scour crime scenes for clues and evidence. They've even designed locations inspired directly by canon episodes — so the Mythos runs underneath your gameplay, which is exactly what this IP needs. Check out PC Gamer's full write-up:
