**FFXV on Switch — it could actually happen!!** During their latest shareholder meeting Square Enix was asked if Final Fantasy XV would ever hit Nintendo Switch and they basically said "not impossible" which means IT IS UNDER CONSIDERATION, something they had never explicitly admitted before! That is massive for every Switch owner who wanted a native version. Right now all we have on Switch is the Pocket Edition which I already called out as clunky — it's a mobile port that scored 6/10 compared to the original game's solid 8, so getting a real port in the future would be a huge win for Nintendo fans and something to circle on my calendar!
**Kingdom Hearts cloud versions are being retired — but there is GREAT news built into it.** Support page confirmed sales of Kingdom Hearts Cloud Versions end June 9, 2026, and service completely ends June 9, 2027 so you can still play yours until then. But here's the real win: everyone who owned a cloud version gets discount eligibility for the full digital Switch AND Switch 2 versions — which launch October 8, 2026 — plus your save data transfers over between them! If you own KINGDOM HERTS INTEGRUM MASTERPIECE - Cloud Version you actually get discounts on ALL digital versions across the board, and everyone can also grab the new Kingdom Hearts Collection [I-III] discounted (but note: the physical collection does NOT qualify for the discount).
