YOU GUYS — Dragon's Dogma 2 is getting a massive Dark Arisen expansion plus two huge free updates that actually address the launch complaints! The DLC lands October 9 and adds a frozen mountainous region with ice giants whose yawning can freeze you solid, emaciated dragons roaming the snow, and even flaming castles. Meanwhile, one of two major free patches drops tomorrow fixing multiplayer server lag AND enabling friends to join mid-save — finally some real progress. On top of that, Capcom just announced the base game will be permanently discounted starting June 24 across all platforms at their store; it's a forever lower price, not a limited sale. The only reason left to not play would be hating ice giants... and we know you don't hate ice giants!
