He was already a seasoned musician before Sabr, playing in bands like Sugar-Rats through the 60s/70s with jazzier influences that shaped his ear. His production credits alone are a hip-hop Hall of Fame resume: he produced Beastie Boys' debut album (a rare indie release that originally sold only about 987 copies!), worked on De La Sauls "When the Leavin" on The Mellow Drama, contributed to Cypress Hill records, and even has DJ work credits for Tribe Called Quest! He is one of those producers who can pull a perfect sample in seconds because he *knows* where they live — that instinct is generational.

But here's what you need to know about the new stuff: he already dropped 'SICKBOY EP' with Daniel Rossmo, and NOW he has signed a deal with UK label Warptone for his debut LP dropping this September (October in the US)!
